Craig has personally built, led, and scaled his own high-performing remote team of professionals across multiple functions. His hands-on track record in creating effective offshore teams is not only theoretical but is proven, practical, and results-driven.
Craig’s real-world experience is the foundation of TRA. Our team of offshoring specialists understands the operational realities, expectations, and pressures faced by businesses in Australia — because we have lived them ourselves.

Meet our CEO & Founder
Craig Allen FCPA FIPA CA
Craig is an accountant and business consultant with more than 35 years of professional experience and deep expertise in building and leading offshore teams.
After founding Craig Allen & Associates in 1988 and serving as an original quality assurance reviewer for CPA Australia, Craig gained firsthand insight into the staffing and operational challenges facing firms.
In 2017, he built his own offshore team in the Philippines to address talent shortages in Australia. His proven success in recruiting, integrating, and managing remote professionals led to the launch of The Remote Accountant (TRA, now TRA Offshoring Solutions ), where he now helps businesses build structured, high-performing offshore teams with confidence.
